Galatians 2:20--"I WAS crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ liveth in me. And the life that I now live, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."

Ephesians 4:22--"...put off the old man..." and "...put on the new man who after God is created in RIGHTEOUSNESS and TRUE HOLINESS."

Phillipians 2:13--God is at work in us to WILL and to DO His good pleasure.

We cannot see God without a pure heart. When Jesus comes in and lives in us, He makes our heart pure. He enables us to SEE God.

Proverbs 23:26--"My son, give me thine heart..."

God wants our whole heart--our spirit AND our soul!!

We need to remember that WE cannot build the house. After Jesus comes to live in us, He has to build the house. It is OF Him, BY Him and FOR Him!! Daily we need to give Him control and He purifies us.

The hope that we have in Jesus finished work, is what anchors us and keeps us steadfastly in the RACE. He is the author and finisher of our faith. He is the beginning and the end. And everything in between.

I John 3:3--And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

In other words, we allow the continuing work of the Holy Spirit in our soul and body, because we have a lively HOPE in us. And hope brings faith. And faith makes things happen. It brings what we need to us!

Hebrews 6:19--"Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast..."

Hope keeps us from wavering, in the time from when we believe God to the time we SEE the promise.
